Worship Ministry

At New Life Fellowship, we have understood the importance of worshipping God. Our desire is the same as the Psalmist’s who declares that God is enthroned on the praises of His people (Psalm: 22: 3). We wish to see God exalted and come into our midst as we worship Him.

We believe that worship is more than the songs we sing and the music we play. It is a LIFESTYLE. God is looking for people whose walk matches their talk (songs). We love to be such people because that is exactly what God expects from us.

Though our worship team consists of some of the best musicians and singers, yet we emphasize more on the heart than the art. We believe that God is interested in our hearts more than our actions. As the Psalmist says” Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place” (Psalm 51:6). And that’s what we intend to give to God, “Our hearts”.

Benefits of worshiping God:

Worship is critical because it is the key to God’s presence. It is what brings us into intimacy with the Father. In other words, worship is a two-way communication. We come into His presence by loving, adoring and exalting Him. He then makes Himself known by communicating His Love and His inspiration (and revelation) back to us. This, of course, results in inexpressible joy for us.

We agree with A.W.Tozer when he says, “Without worship, we go about miserable.” As Pastor Jack Hayford puts it “Worship changes the worshipper into the image of the One worshipped.” As we worship, we want to see our lives change and become more like Him.

Praise elevates us into God’s Presence and Power:

Paul and Silas knew the secret of how to lift their hearts above their troubles and enter into God’s presence and power. Through praise and worship, their hearts were raised into the joyous presence and peace of God, and provided God a channel for His power to operate in their circumstances. Likewise, God desires to enter our situations and help us, provided we allow Him to do so. Worship is one of the channels for God to enter our situations.
